ALIKAY NATURALS AND LOCS? WYD

For as long as man walked this green sometimes musty earth we have been programmed that men and women with locs only eat trees and berries, smoke ganja morning noon and night, use natural deodorants and the only products used in our hair is aloe and oils.

Well I am a 14 year rasta and I am here to tell you all of this is wrong except for 1 lol! The history of locs have come a long way. Folks of all caliber are rocking these unique strands. And brands are peeping the growth of the loc community. Some try to make products that leave your strands dry and dead looking, too greasy or lots of build up.

While doing research because I am a connoisseur of the natural hair products, I came across a brand that didn't seem to bad. I understood what I was reading on the labels. They had good reviews with curly heads and the products smelled amazing. But the golden question! Will it work on my not to average natural dome?

So for a month I tried two products from Alikay Naturals. The ESSENTIAL 17 OIL and the LEMONGRASS LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER. Very apprehensive when trying this especially the leave in. Look it was yellow, it was yellow and it was yellow! But it smelled great! Like a nice day on the beach in St. Croix. So, with a touch of my fingers I sprayed this conditioner on my scalp. No tingling, no creamy crack, just liquid a nice smell and immediately hydration come to my roots. Ok, ok then I gave me scalp a much needed spa day, massaged the cramp out of her. Followed was the applying of the essential 17, not to think, easy to apply, didn't shoot out a lot of product at once. Massaged her right in to seal the leave in wrap my hair and went to bed.

When I telllllllll you how refreshed and nourish my locs looked and felt, yep yep I was hooked just off of one day. I did this process at least 3 time a week for a months and my hair is loving it.

Get you some!
