THE TAMELESS TONGUE

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words words will never hurt me

So false sticks and stones do in fact breaks bones but words they cut like knives piercing thru the skin, they rip thru the soul they leave deeper wounds.

A girl always wanted to Sing she would sing in the shower on the bus at church with her friends whenever she had the chance she would sing. Singing to her was just as important as brushing your teeth. One day she went into the kitchen and sung to her one of the most important people in her life her boyfriend, he turned around and said girl what you doing stop that sounds crazy don't ever think you'll make it as a singer she was confused because everyone she knew told her she had the chops but he didn't believe in her. That made her feel so insecure in her abilities that she quit singing and never did it again. 

Family the power of the tongue is a deadly weapon. 

Some of us walk around saying whatever we like to whomever with no remorse and no though process

We feel that if it's the truth then it should be told

Ever heard the saying it's not what you say it's how you say it. 

In some cases the truth needs to be said but not in a jerkish way

On the other hand people say things to folks and care about the emotional damage that it can cause.

Yes yes arguments happen that's not going to change it's how you deal with it that needs to

You might be battling insecurities with yourself and instead of dealing with it you drop that heavy load on friends or family by discrediting there talents or making them feel like there ideas won't work or stupid

Live a life of purpose. Of integrity of love. 

Be mindful of the things that come out of your mouth and think deeper of how what you say and how it can affect people and not just your feelings!

Imagine if a child is called bad all thru growing up he or she will start to believe that and act accordingly

If a wife continues to undermine her husband and call him worthless he will start to believe that act out or crawl into a shell and be insecure about his place in the relationship. 

If every time your friend goes out with you your always telling him you don't like how he dresses he looks really wack that starts messing with people psyche

We need to start focusing on not just our actions but our words. 

Sticks and stones yes but words linger and festure and become more damaging or even permanent the a bruise or a cut
