HACKS FOR INSTANT RELIEF
Question? When was the last time you felt like a 10. I mean A strong ten, when you look into the mirror and you liked what you saw but you are also in love with what your doing and becoming. Like when was the last time?
Life is a fickle thing and for some of us we go thru it. The bumps in the road, the highs the lows. It is easy I mean very easy to get swept up in a puddle of stress and negativity, to the point where you find yourself in somewhat of a rut. Do you agree?
I was walking to my friends house and the strap of my sandal popped, that morning I woke up out the bed and banged my foot on the dresser. The day before my food that I worked so hard on, that was plated may I mention so beautifully fell on the floor as I was headed to the table. Also that week I had a great opportunity to walk in a fashion show (first time ever) but, all I could think about was how fat I looked compared to the others.
Can we both agree what the problem is? A positive, maybe life changing event happened in my life but I am programmed to focus on the dumb crap that has been happening instead.
When I am in a funk and feeling like a solid 2.5 not a ten here are somethings I do to reel that line back in.
- Get a pedicure
- Volunteer at a organizations and help someone less fortunate than me out (that seems to work all the time)
- Workout: something about completely an intense workput makes me feel so liberating!
- Take a Bath: some epsom salt, peppermint oil and a good audible book
- Meditate
- Write
- Get a Massage (from your significant, at a spa or do it yourself!)
- Call your mom
- List the things you are thankful for
- Shave, wax, laser ( I find when Im less bushy, I feel myself more..don't be gross lol!)
- Take a walk in the park
Hey, these are just the things that I do, try them out and if you have a few things that work for you do them more. You'll start feeling like a ten real soon!
